Callie digs herself a deeper hole by spending more time around Marisa, who can’t get her mind off of Nik. Lauren attempts to get closer to Nik by inviting herself to his NA meetings, but in doing so only strains their relationship-and her friendship with Michelle. The BHC community is settling back into school after a summer that was long, but not uneventful. Nik, who used the summer to clean up his act, feels that his hard work in the coke trade is going unappreciated by both Marisa and Jacob, which causes him to reconsider his part in the business altogether. Marisa, on a mission to take back Beta Sig from Blair, struggles to balance her complicated relationships with Dixon, Nik, and Jacob. Blair, disturbed by the negative image that Beta Sig has taken on ever since Lily’s death at the rave, finds comfort in a visit to her office hours from Trent. Adrian, there caught up in a romantic infatuation, begins to lose interest in his own business with a restless Declan, leading Declan to finally make the big moves that he’s waited to make all summer long…with disastrous results.

In the wake of Declan’s assault on Nik, Dixon puts into motion a devious scheme that completely shifts the power dynamic in his relationship with Marisa.
