    In Season Two’s third episode Jennifer Gan reports on engineering students who build their own race car; Chloe Adams takes a look behind the scenes of B.U. on Broadway as they prepare their production of Something Rotten; Aaron Montgomery travels back to his hometown to tell the story of his high school’s guitar teacher; Jennifer Gan tells the story of 3 students who created their own small businesses; Yuting Li records ‘Bee’ as she showcases her passion for cosplay; and Kristian Moravec visits a Rhode Island park to video a  laid-back game of soccer.

  • Our Times Season 2 Episode 2 Episode 2

    In Season Two’s second episode Harrison McGlashan explores performing and mixing house music through the eyes of a young DJ; Casey Choung follows with a man who, when not conducting Duck Boat tours roams the streets looking for TV news crews; Taylor Coester tells the story of a dance teacher whose lessons go beyond movement and Taylor has created a video essay on a student dance club’s performance; and Emma Hagert visits a MFA student at BU who combines his passion for painting and animal rights.

    In Season Two’s first episode Emma Hagert goes behind the scenes to document the making of a B.U. student dramedy whodunit web series; Yuting Li is on the streets of Boston reporting on a street musician and his Jimi Hendrix-inspired music; Hsuan Ma’s story reveals how public spaces can become canvases for personal expression and cultural storytelling; and Julia Wiegand checks out an intentional co-living community inhabited by visionaries, creatives, musicians and artists.

  • OUR TIMES: A Special Episode Episode 5
    6/7/23

    Zoe Zekos created this special episode of Our Times that looks at the Arts. The first story gives viewers a glimpse into the artistic process of the shadow puppet show, Magic Pearl. The second segment is inspired by the “city symphony” documentary style of the 1920s and 30s and is an exploration of the varying architectural landscape in Boston. The final story features Bil Thibodeau, Artistic Director of Gateway Arts, and the professional artists he works with. Gateway Arts, located in Brookline, supports careers in art for adults with disabilities.

    Zekos was the director, producer, videographer, and editor of this episode of the series.
