Bling Bling, Terriers Pimpin' In The Spring

After a not-so-great start to the season, the Men's Lacrosse got their scoring shoes on and showed us their scoring skills as they beat the Stonehill Skyhawks 13-2. We have all the scoring highlights for you. Even though it's springtime, the Women's Soccer team is still kickin' it as they recently hosted Northeastern, Boston College, and Harvard for their annual Beanpot Tournament on Nickerson Field. TN was able to capture the winning footage against Northeastern. This week's Minute for the Media is our own David Riggs updating us with how the nationally ranked Women's Lacrosse team is continuing to dominate the America East and the country. For Top Dog, Chris Talanian takes us out to the ball field and features pitcher and first baseman, Brandon Simes. Hear how Simes is using the Dice-K approach to pitching and being "effectively wild." Despite their season being over, we still have to give love to the Men's Hockey team. On Dog House, Melissa Parrelli toured the crib of Chris Higgins and Jason Lawrence, and we'll also update you with some good news for next season. The Men's and Women's Track and Field teams and the Women's Softball team were all away this past weekend, but Amy Bryson and Lexie O'Connor will fill you in with all we missed with our away game recaps. It was Opening Day at Fenway on Tuesday and guess what everyone's favorite BU Athletics show was doing? Mike Sullivan made the two-block journey all the way to Kenmore Square to test the Red Sox fans on some BU Baseball trivia. Phil Rich's performance against Stonehill was so impressive that we decided to make 5 of his 6 goals our Top 5 plays of the week.
