Terrier Nation Episode 2.8

The Madness that is March

Spring Break is a time for everybody to let loose, relax, and even get a little MAD. Agganis Arena hosted the 2007 America East Men's Basketball Championship this past weekend. We'll show you how the Terriers faired, as well as sitting down with Assistant Commissioner in charge of Communications, KJ Cardinal. Mike Sullivan challenges Rhett to a duel on the hardwood, but for some reason, Rhett didn't need a basketball to beat on poor Mike. With the women's America East tournament starting this weekend, play-by-play man for WTBU Radio, Jonah Goldberg gives us a preview of how the Lady Terriers will fair in the tournament. While the Hockey East tournament also begins this weekend, Terrier Nation's Maggie Haskins shows us another sport on ice that is getting a lot of student-support. And while these single-digit degree days may make seem like Spring is way off, Terrier Nation's Jackie Ward previews the women's lacrosse season, which could only mean one thing: Just a few more weeks of winter... We'll also check in at the Track and Tennis Center to see how the track and field team is coping after one of their leaders was injured in that fire at 21 Aberdeen St. Both track and field teams were closing out their season in the conference tournaments. And we'll stay at the TTC to check on the men's tennis team to see if they could bring out the broom sticks to sweep at home. It's a roller coaster ride of sports on this edition of Terrier Nation, but don't worry, you don't have to keep your emotions inside the vehicle.
