butv10, Boston University's student-run television channel and companion website, has been recognized for excellence in student programming with a 2008 Telly Award. The recognition is for On That Point, butv1's roundtable debate program.

On That Point is a forum that strives to cover all the angles on all the issues. “The original goal was to create a platform to engage students in discussion on politics and current events,” said show creator Neil St. Clair (COM '08). “I hope this allows the show to flourish and develop for many years to come.”

“This acknowledgement is not only a credit to the show's staff, but it is also a reflection on the entire organization,” said Assistant Professor Christophor Cavalieri, butv10‘s Faculty Advisor. “The students' effort and commitment is impressive and to be professionally recognized validates this dedication.”
